Intalling a previous
version of Quicktime for English For All
For Windows Operating Systems only
BEFORE YOU PROCEED
READ THE FOLLOWING:
- Installing Quicktime
6.5.2 will affect iTunes which requires 7.1.3 or later. iTunes will
not function with QT 6.5.2
- If you do not use iTunes
proceed with the instructions below.
- If you do use iTunes
there is currently no version of Quicktime available that works with both
Quicktime and iTunes.
The problem is being addressed and as soon as a
"fix" is found it will be announced.
- All
other versions of Quicktime must be uninstalled BEFORE installing Quicktime

Follow these steps to
uninstall:
- Make sure you are logged
in as an Administrator
- Click Start
/ All Programs
- Find the Quicktime
folder and open it
- Click Uninstall Quicktime
and follow the instructions to uninstall all Quicktime files from your
computer
- Restart your computer
- Log in as the Administrator

- Make
sure all other versions of Quicktime have been uninstalled.
- Make sure you are logged
in as the computer Administrator
- Open your browser and
go to www5.scoe.net/efaQTdownload
- Click
on the 6.5.2 link towards the bottom of the page
- Select "Run" or "Save" to
install Quicktime 6.5.2
- Follow all instructions
during installation EXCEPT when prompted to Update
IMPORTANT:
Click NO or LATER when
prompted to update Quicktime to 7.0 or 7.1
